Getting What You Deserve
Today, I realized something powerful. Standing there by the water, hand in hand with Ang, a weight lifted that I didn’t even know I’d been carrying. This moment, this entire day, was about stepping into what I deserve, not because of some tally of what I’ve done, but because of who I am.
For too long, I, like so many of us, felt the shadow of “getting what you deserve.” It echoed in the background, a threat more than a promise. But today, I stood in the light of a new understanding. Deserve isn’t about punishment or payment; it’s about discovering that we are enough, exactly as we are. It’s about celebrating the truth of our journey, not hiding from it.
Today was a reminder that every step, every struggle, every release, is part of building the life I’ve always deserved. I’m not waiting for permission or for some external validation. I’m choosing to live with a fullness that comes from within, and that’s what this picture represents—a moment of arrival, a step into the light.
If you’re curious about the journey and want to dig a little deeper, check out my latest blog post: Getting What You Deserve. It’s an exploration of the shadows we carry, the truths we uncover, and the moment we choose to step into our worth.
Wherever you are on your journey, I encourage you to pause, look around, and ask yourself: What do you deserve? Not for your mistakes or shortcomings, but for the inherent goodness and strength that’s been there all along.
Here’s to claiming what’s ours. Here’s to arrival.
